FAQs

When will I start to see results?

We're all about RESULTS. You can expect to see 3 shades whiter teeth in just 2 weeks. Use as directed for 2 weeks, and your smile will be magic!

How long will the whitening effect last?

Because tooth staining is often caused by the things we eat, drink (tea, coffee, wine), we're unable to say for sure. The duration can vary greatly. We recommend adding other CO. items to your routine as well to help prolong the whitening effect!

Do I have to use it 2 weeks in a row or can I skip a day here and there? Do I need to start all over?

It will continue to work even if you skip a day. However, for best results, continue to use nightly and as directed.

How frequently can I use my whitening pen?

It is safe to use nightly (once per day). The recommended cycle is one week at a time, but you can use it until it is finished.

Is there an interval in between treatment cycles? How much time should I wait to go through the whitening cycle again?

After completing the use of one wand, you can resume use with no waiting period. If significant tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort develops and persists after use, please consult your dentist or physician before continuing use.

How should I clean the pen brush?

To clean, simply wipe the bristles with a tissue. Do not use water.

After one use of the pen, the bristles are stuck together and serum does not seem to come out, what should I do?

Continue to click the button on the wand until you see a drop of liquid on the bristles. This should loosen them up and make the product easier to apply.

I can't see serum on the bristles when I click the pen, how do I know if I have enough to use?

As you click the wand, serum will start to come out. You may have to click a few times extra to start the serum (it may take up to 20 clicks during first use!). The bristles will begin to look shiny when there is serum. Holding the brush in the light will help you see where the serum is coming from and when it starts to come out. Practice makes perfect and the more you use it, the easier it will be.

The formula left a film on my teeth, how do I remove this?

It has been specially designed to provide overnight contact with teeth by creating a coating to allow for slow-release and extended exposure to the hydrogen peroxide. We recommend leaving the film on overnight and brushing as you normally would the next morning.

Am I allowed to eat or drink after application?

For best results, it is not recommended to eat or drink directly after the formula is applied. We recommend using It's Lit before sleep.

Do my teeth have to be dry before doing the treatment?

We recommend drying your teeth before using the wand for a better usage experience. Simply pat teeth try with a tissue before applying the serum!

Is the serum safe to swallow?

When It is used as directed, a slight film will coat the teeth surface and is intended to remain overnight. The materials used in this product are not likely to produce an allergic response, but we recommend that you consult physicians or health care providers if there are concerns.

I know “bleaching” can cause sensitivity. Will this product cause sensitivity?

It has been designed to provide precise application to teeth, so you can avoid the gums. The formula is also specially designed to minimize the risk of sensitivity, with a low peroxide concentration and slow-release technology. To minimize irritation, try to avoid contact with your gums.

Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using whitening products. This discomfort is temporary and not harmful. If significant tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort develops and persists after use, talk to your dentist or physician before continuing use.

Are there refills for this product?

There are no refills available for this product. Simply purchase another It's Lit wand to replace!
